What is the Sales Funnel and how does it work?

The Sales Funnel is a visual representation of moving prospective clients from Awareness to Action. When you create a Pending, that is your roadmap on how to meet and exceed your personal goals.

Default stages:

  1. Prospecting
  2. Needs Analysis
  3. Proposal/Negotiation
  4. Client Order Received

Stages in ShareBuilder CRM are configurable to managers or admins. 

Some of the functions available for you to use on the Sales Funnel are:

  • Using the keyword search to filter by an Account name-click on the FILTER to see.
  • View the columns by stage or percent confidence.
  • See Pending by Adjusted Pending, by applying your confidence level or Pending without that adjustment applied.
  • Select the time frame under Filter/Month. You can define a specific time period or use the end date to adjust the overall time frame you would like to see.



Moving the Pending by dragging the Pending from one column to the next will update the percent confidence to reflect a different stage of the Sales Funnel.

  • If your market has a default confidence percent confidence in its Pending settings, then it will update to that percent when moving between stages.
  • The Yellow and Red lines to the sides of your stages in the sales funnel, reflect Pending reminders that be updated.
    • Yellow indicates 4 days past the activity date and or the close week needs to be updated.
    • Red indicates the confidence does not match the stage of the sales funnel that your Manager may have set. 
    • The bottom of each Pending card shows the last date your Pending was updated.

You can move clients through the stages from the Pending List page drop-downs or the Sales Funnel Page by dragging the Pending to the next stage/column:

The Sales Funnel page is not available on the Mobile App but it is on your desktop or tablet.
