When working without a fully connected mailbox in the ShareBuilders CRM, you can still log your email communications by CC’ing Assistant@share-builders.com. Here's how you can make the most of this feature:

Key Features:

  1. Automatic Association: When you CC Assistant@share-builders.com, the system will attempt to match the email with existing contacts and accounts in the CRM.
  2. Contact Management: If the recipient email is not associated with a contact in CRM, it will be flagged as an unknown contact and will need manual review.
  3. Thread Logging: Email threads are captured and logged in the CRM to maintain conversation continuity.

Do NOT BCC the Assistant.  It will not be able to see the correct contact to associate to.

Step-by-Step Guide:

  1. Compose Your Email: Draft your email as you normally would in your preferred email client.
  2. Add the CRM Assistant Email: Include Assistant@share-builders.com in the CC field of your email.
  3. Send: Send the email. The CRM will automatically log the email and attempt to match it with the appropriate records.
