What
Red alerts deal directly with financials and yellow alerts are associated with maintenance.
Missing Seller $’s - When billing data from traffic isn't linked to a seller's profile in CRM, a manager is prompted to associate the two.
Missing (or New) Revenue Categories - When an unrecognized revenue code string is received from traffic, a manager is prompted to link it to the correct budget category.
List Discrepancies - When an order from traffic is linked to a different Seller than the one assigned to the account in CRM. The alert prompts a manager to review and correct the conflict. This ensures the assigned Seller can see the account history.
Account Approvals - When you’ve added a new account or challenged an existing account, a manager is prompted to approve the account request.
Unlinked Accounts - When an account comes in from traffic but isn’t yet linked to the correct company or user in CRM. This can impact financials until the account is properly mapped.
Account Category Exceptions - When an account no longer fits in its current category such as non-billing accounts that have started billing, or billing accounts that no longer meet the criteria for their assigned category.
Missing Product Categories - When a new account from Traffic includes a product category that doesn't yet exist in CRM or the Product Category is “None”, you are prompted to set up and map the account’s Product Category in CRM to ensure accurate tracking.
Pending Reminders - When an opportunity goes stale (after 4+ days of no activity and/or once its end week has passed) the Seller is prompted to update their pending.
Why
Addressing Next Step alerts in ShareBuilder CRM is crucial because they help maintain sales momentum, accountability, and data accuracy. If you don’t, you risk stalling deals, missing deadlines, and losing clarity.
