The Budgets page provides a detailed view of financial planning and performance. Managers can filter, analyze, customize, and adjust revenue goals across sellers and business units, ensuring precise alignment with sales activity. Both overall budgets (covering all revenue streams) and secondary budgets (breaking down into subcategories) can be created and tracked independently.
For managers, effective budget management is essential because it:
Tracks Progress: Measures performance against planned revenue targets.
Supports Coaching: Highlights each seller’s progress toward their individual budget, enabling focused discussions in one-on-ones.
Informs Strategy: Reveals pacing, pipeline health, and alignment between booked/pending revenue and forecasted goals.
Provides Flexibility: Customizable filters, columns, and saved views let managers tailor reports to their unique oversight needs.
Aligns with Forecasting: Integrated with bottom-up forecasting and year-over-year comparisons, budgets ensure revenue goals remain realistic and data-driven.
Budgets empower managers to move beyond static targets, enabling real-time adjustments and deeper performance insights.
